Tragic Loss: 12 Pakistani Fishermen Perish as Boat Capsizes in Arabian Sea

In a devastating incident, twelve Pakistani fishermen lost their lives after their boat capsized in the Arabian Sea, announced the military on Wednesday. As rescue efforts intensify, the navy continues its search for two missing individuals following the tragic event on March 5.

The fishing vessel met with disaster off the coast of southern Sindh province, prompting a swift response from rescuers utilizing helicopters, ships, and speedboats to scour the waters.

In an update, the army’s public relations wing confirmed the recovery of twelve bodies, with efforts ongoing to locate the remaining missing fishermen.

Transport accidents, unfortunately, remain a grim reality in Pakistan, marked by overcrowding and inadequate safety measures. The ill-fated boat, reportedly carrying 45 crew members, succumbed to rough seas near Hajamro Creek, near the Indian border, attributed to adverse weather conditions.
